How to Add a Website to WP Integrity Inspector

If you have installed WP Integrity Inspector, added your WordPress domain, and placed the PHP connector wpinspect.php, you can now add the domain to the WP Integrity Inspector application to begin monitoring and analyzing the domain.

1. Launch the WP Integrity Inspector tool

2. Click on "Add Site"

3. Enter the domain name

exactly as it was added on wpii.dev

4. Enter the domain password

the password you received after adding your domain on wpii.dev

The tool will then automatically check the domain's availability and download the first set of data from the PHP connector.

Once the domain is successfully loaded, it will appear in the domain list on the left side of the application.

What Errors Might Occur When Adding a Domain and How to Resolve Them:

Error: Invalid domain format. Please enter a valid domain (e.g., example.com or sub.example.com).

Solution: Enter the domain in a valid format exactly as it was registered on the wpii.dev service.


Error: Password must be at least 12 characters long.

Solution: Enter the password exactly as you received it after registering the domain on wpii.dev.


Error: Adding the domain failed. The domain does not exist or refuses the connection.

Solution:

  • 1. Check your internet connection
  • 2. Verify the domain's availability in a web browser
  • 3. If you are using a CDN, ensure it is not blocking access
  • 4. If you are using a CDN, allow access for the UserAgent: WPIntegrityInspector


Error: Adding the domain failed.

Solution: Ensure that the file wpinspect.php is located at https://[yourdomain.com]/wpinspect.php

In your browser, you should see the following response:

{"status":"error","message":"Invalid input data. Password is required."}


Error: Adding the domain failed - wp-load.php

Solution: If your WordPress is not in the root directory of your domain, read how to configure the PHP connector wpinspect.php.


Error: WPII.dev did not verify the domain.

Solution:

  • 1. Add the domain on wpii.dev/domain/
  • 2. Wait a few hours, as it may take time for your domain registration to propagate through our systems
